I have learned, through my Aunty's, that we can find God in the rainbow as it stretches across the expanse of the sky after a rainfall.
We can find him in the gentleness of the butterfly as it glides over our head in the afternoon breeze.
We can find him in a child's laughter which is filled with innocence and freedom.
We can find him in the roar of the thunder and the bright flashes of the lightening while throughout all the loudness there is a sweet calm that rests upon our souls.
We can find him through the embrace of the one who loves us with a love that can only come from God......That one that he has placed there for that purpose.
We can find him through the words of those whom he has placed in our path to edify us and encourage us.
We can find him deep in our hearts, when even as we struggle, we look up and softly speak the words from the depths of our hearts...... "help me God."
We can find him as we look in the mirror and remember that he knows how many hairs are on our heads.
I have learned that God is everywhere and ever present.
Sometimes the storms he allows us to go through are very difficult, yet we must grab a hold of the hands of the companions that he has placed beside us on our journey and walk steadfastly forward.

Thanks Hazel
This is so true. It is often difficult to think like this when we hear of tragedy and suffering or when we are personally going through difficult times. But, even if we do lose sight of His presence, He is still there.
He is always there...even when we don't feel him there, yeah?
This is very beautiful and inspiring to me. One thing that popped into my mind is "Be still and listen to the quiet voice." Taking the time to listen is the most difficult, sometimes.
Yeah, I agree, especially when situations in our lives are turbulent.
'Sweet calm that rests upon our souls' ~ Beautiful!
Thank you.
